Students have various opportunities to participate in intercollegiate cultural activities. For the events selected at college level professional training by in the field such as singing, dancing, debating etc is provided by the college.
Cultural department is one the most important department of the college. It was established in 2001 at the time of establishment of the college to motivate the students for taking participation in different cultural competitions. The student participates in various cultural activities in at the college level, District, University Level. Department provides the platform to the students to increase opportunities for social interaction. The department organizes the guest lectures, workshop, various competitions, Annual Gathering, Annual Prize Distribution, etc. Also teaches students how to work for a common goal. Department increases the level of confidence of the students which ultimately develops a sense of responsibility in them. Department consists a committee of the teachers to look after all the activities run by the department. The Students, who secure ranks in the university youth festival are eligible to receive a certificate and 10 marks as gracing.
